As Bigg Boss Tamil enters its 63rd day, Kasthuri is the latest contestant to be evicted from season 3. Tharshan, Sandy, Cheran and Kasthuri were the four contestants who were nominated for eviction from the Bigg Boss 3 house. The Bigg Boss house has now shrunk to 8 members.
Kasthuri, who had entered the house recently as a wildcard contestant, was shown the door by the audience in 17 days. The actor was given an opportunity by host Kamal Haasan to re-enter the show through the secret room, from where she could closely observe the behaviour of the inmates, specifically the words mouthed by them. But she refused to get into the secret room and chose to get evicted. She is the ninth contestant to get evicted from the show after Fathima Babu, Mohan Vaidya, Meera, Vanitha, Abirami, Sakshi, Madhumitha and Saravanan.
After Madhumitha who won the captaincy task last week and was elected as the captain of the house got eliminated, the housemates selected Sherin as the captain of the house. The week’s luxury task was very interesting as the housemates were given a chance to revisit their school days. Kasthuri and Cheran acted as teachers while the others dressed up as school students. Post the inclusion of Vanitha again in the house, the show went on a roller-coaster of controversies. The task started off with a clash after Vanitha accused Kasthuri of addressing her as vaathu (duck) to body shame her.
Losliya, Cheran and Sandy Master were picked by the housemates as the best performers of the luxury budget task. The three contestants then fought it out for the captaincy. The contestant whose name is picked by the other housemates five times stands a chance to become the captain. By that process, Cheran will probably become the captain of the house.
During the weekend episode, Kamal called each contestant into the confession room and addressed their positive and negative points individually. The Sunday episode also had an interesting segment where each housemate got a call from their teachers/gurus. Cheran received a call from his mentor, director KS Ravikumar, who wished him well for the future. Sandy got a call from choreographer Kala, while Losliya, Mugen, Tharshan and Kavin got a call from their school teachers. Kamal also revealed that there would be no eviction in the following week. Though nominations would happen, no one would be evicted.
Kavin and Losliya, who had allegedly breached rules and regulations on multiple occasions, were warned by Kamal during the Saturday episode. Kamal also played a visual in which Kavin and Losliya had, during a midnight conversation, muted their mics which is a beach of the Bigg Boss game rules.
