The News Minute | February 6, 2015 | 09:55 am IST The Karnataka government on Thursday sacked Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) chairperson P Nagaraju for his alleged involvement in financial and administrative irregularities. The Department of Co-operation on Wednesday issued an order stating Nagaraju was being sacked as member of the KMF Board for a period of two years, under Rule 29 C of the Karnataka Cooperation Societies Act, 1959, states a report by The New Indian Express. Several complaints were received against Nagaraju, following which he was given the sack. He allegedly had purchased a vehicle of Rs 25 lakh and also went on a tour with the sanction of the state government, adds the report. Nagaraju was elected as KMF chairman on September 17, 2014.
