Sudeep is one busy actor, churning out one hit after another. He not just a star in the Kannada film industry but in Tamil and Telugu as well with his riveting performance in Naan E/ Eega sealing a place for him in the hearts of the film buffs. While he is currently busy with the Kannada movie Villain, where he is sharing screen space with the Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Sudeep has also been signed on to play a role in the Hollywood flick Risen. To be directed by Eddie Arya, Risen is a science fiction that will have Sudeep in a pivotal role. Interestingly, this is the first time a Kannada actor will feature in a Hollywood movie.
Though these prestigious projects are keeping him busy, Sudeep has reportedly bagged another interesting film as well, say sources. It is said that the star will be sharing screen space with the Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi and Big B - Amitabh Bachchan - in the biopic of an unsung freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
The actor, speaking about the Telugu film, had reportedly told the Times of India, “Talks are on, so there isn’t much I can reveal. The character offered to me is a powerful one — the biopic includes a guy who actually spoke both Kannada and Telugu. I am aware that I was the first person they thought of while casting for this particular character. I feel honoured with the conviction they have about this casting.”
The film, apart from its talented star cast, will have a very strong technical crew that includes AR Rahman for music and Ravi Varman for cinematography. Surendhar Reddy will be helming the affairs as the director of this flick, which is touted to go on floors in October this year.
