Director Satish Vegesna and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram are reportedly teaming up for a film tentatively titled Entha Manchivadavura. According to reports, the film is a remake of the hit Gujarati movie Oxygen. Directed by Chinmay Purohit, the original had Aanshul Trivedu and Vyoma Nandi playing the lead roles. The film was about the hero whose nature is to help others at any cost.

According to the industry grapevine, the Telugu version will not be an exact adaptation of the original but the director will be making some changes to suit the sensibilities for the Telugu audiences.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, who was looking for a big hit, finally tasted success with 118, which was released in March this year. The film was bankrolled by PRO Mahesh Koneru under his banner East Coast Productions and directed by KV Guhan. Sharing the screen space with Kalyan Ram in this flick as his heroines were Nivetha Thomas and Shalini Pandey. Kalyan Ram played an investigative journalist in the film and had done some risky stunts in it. 

118 was undoubtedly a commercial success as the film collected Rs 10.02 crores shares at the box office worldwide after a successful run of 17 days at the theatres.

Wanting to keep up with the success spree, Kalyan Ram chose his next project with great care. According to sources in the know, Satish Vegesna came up with an impressive story for the actor and he agreed to do it immediately.

Meanwhile, Kalyan Ram’s Tuglaq, which is directed by Venu Mallidi, is gearing up for release. Touted to be a socio fantasy entertainer, this film will have the actor in dual roles. Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa play the female leads in this flick. According to trade insiders, plans are on to release the film for Dusshera this year. Tuglaq is being bankrolled by Kalyan Ram’s home banner NTR Arts on a budget of Rs. 20 crore.
