Multiple trains under the Secunderabad South Central Railway (SCR) have been cancelled, following the train collision of an express train with the MMTS train at Hyderabad’s Kacheguda station on Monday. As many as 12 passengers were injured after the Lingampalli-Falaknuma-bound local MMTS Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) train (Train No. 47178) collided with the Kurnool City Secunderabad Hundry Intercity Express (Train No 17028) at Kacheguda railway station at 10.30 am.
As the rescue and restoration operations continues, authorities announced cancellations, partial cancellations and route diversions for several trains.

12647 Coimbatore to H Nizamuddin has been diverted via Dhone, Guntakal, Sulehalli and Secunderabad, while 12766 Amravati-Tirupati Express (Bi-weekly) has been diverted via Bolarum Secundrabad Sulehalli-Guntakal, Gooty, and 17652 Kacheguda Chengalpattu Express has been diverted via Secundrabad, Sulehalli, Raichur, Guntakal and Gooty.

17625 Kacheguda- Repalle is rescheduled to depart at 00.30 hrs 12th November from Secundrabad instead of scheduled time and origin.
12797 Kacheguda- Chittoor is rescheduled to depart at 21.00hrs instead of scheduled time.

Along with these trains, at least 20 MMTS local trains that ply on Lingampalli -Falaknuma and Falaknuma-Hyderabad route have been partially cancelled between Secunderabad -Falaknuma, Kacheguda-Falaknuma, Falaknuma-Secunderabad and Falaknuma-Kacheguda .
Meanwhile, the rescue and restoration operation is underway at Kacheguda railway station. Teams of NDRF has been roped into rescue the loco-pilot who stuck in the cabin. According to officials, he is responding to the communications that are being given.
