After making a smashing comeback in last year’s 36 Vayadhinile, a remake of Malayalam film How Old Are You, actress Jyotika has finally commenced work on her next project, which is being helmed by Bramma, popular for directing last year’s critically-acclaimed Kuttram Kadithal.
The film was officially launched earlier on Thursday and the makers subsequently started shooting. Jyotika’s husband Suriya took to Twitter and wished the team for the start of the project.
The yet-untitled project is tipped to be a women-centric thriller and stars veteran actress Bhanupriya, Urvashi and Saranya Ponvannan. According to director Bramma, he’s confident that the subject will appeal to all age-groups. He also said that it’s a film with lots of interesting characters, with a bit of everything for everyone.
Bhanupriya, last seen in Dhanush-starrer 3, plays a pivotal role in the film.
