The first-look poster of Jackpot starring Jyothika and Revathi in the lead is now out. The poser features the duo in police uniforms standing against each other while there’s celebrations in the background. Touted to be a comedy entertainer, the film is being directed by Kalyaan of Gulebagavali fame.
Produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainments, the film will have cinematography by Ananda Kumar, editing by Vijay and music by Vishal. The film will also star Yogi Babu. The film’s release date is yet to be announced.

The film, which had its launch in February, was wrapped up recently. Tipped to be an action comedy, the film will see Jyothika and Revathi play roles that will see them together throughout the course of the movie.
Revathi who was last seen in Keni alongside Jayapradha is at present filming Azhiyatha Kolangal written and directed by MR Bharathi and produced by Easwari Rao. She also has Virus in Malayalam.
Last seen playing a homemaker trying to make a mark on her own in Kaatrin Mozhi, Jyothika currently has two projects in different stages of production. The first is an untitled film in which she plays a school teacher. This film is directed by debutant S Raj and is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.
The project also stars Poornima Bhagyaraj, Sathyan, Hareesh Peradi and Kavitha Bharathi among others. Sean Roldan has been roped in to compose music while Gokul Benoy has cranked the camera.
Jyothika is expected to commence work on Jeethu Joseph’s next Tamil outing from June onward. She will be seen sharing screen space with her brother-in-law Karthi for the first time in this project. In the film, they’ll be seen playing siblings and both of them are said to be thrilled to be working together.
