If reports doing rounds in tinsel town turn out to be true, Tollywood star Jr NTR may soon be hosting the Telugu version of reality show Bigg Boss. Plans are on to make this show in Telugu and the star has been approached to host it for a whopping sum.
Sources say that Jr NTR has been offered a humongous amount for hosting the show.
Incidentally, Tamil star Kamal Haasan has signed on to host the Tamil version of the show. It may be recalled here that the Hindi version was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan and later by Salman Khan and the Kannada version by Kiccha Sudeep.
With the Kannada and Hindi versions turning out to be huge hits, the makers are planning to take the show to the Tamil and Telugu audiences.
According to sources, Jr NTR is also keen on hosting the show as he feels that it would help him widen his fan base by capturing the attention of television viewers. He may start shooting for the show after wrapping up his current film.
Meanwhile, the star is busy playing the lead role in Jai Lava Kusa that is being directed by KS Ravindra aka Bobby.
In the film, Jr NTR plays three roles and the team has worked on three different get-ups for him. Raashi Khanna and Nivedha Thomas have been roped in to play the female leads in the film.
Touted to hit the silver screens for Dasara this year, the shooting of Jai Lava Kusa is progressing at a breakneck speed.
Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for this action drama with Chota K. Naidu cranking the camera. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, actor and brother of Jr. NTR, is producing the movie under his banner NTR Arts.
