Jayasurya’s next film in the pipeline will be with director Prasobh Vijayan of Lilli fame. The film will have Shruti Ramachandran playing the female lead and will be bankrolled jointly by Mukesh R Mehta, AV Anoop and CV Sarathi under the banner of E4 Entertainment. The official pooja ceremony has been done and the film is on the floors.

The technical crew of this film includes Francis Thomas for scripting, Ratheesh Ravi for dialogues, Anarsha for camera work, Jakes Bejoy for music and Vishnu Govind and Sree Sankar of Sound Factory for sound designing.

It may be noted here that Prasobh Vijayan’s Lilli was a revenge thriller, written and directed by him. It was produced by Mukesh R Mehta and CV Sarathi under the banner E4 Experiments and distributed by E4 Entertainment. Incidentally, the same producers are bankrolling Prasobh Vijayan’s upcoming film with Jayasurya as well.

Lilli featured actor Samyuktha Menon in the title role, as a pregnant woman kidnapped by three men. Aaryan Krishna Menon, Kannan Nayar, Dhanesh Anand, Sajin Cherukayil, Kevin Jose, Navajith Narayan and Nitish Ramesh played supporting roles. Sushin Shyam composed the music for Lilli with Sreeraj Raveendran cranking the camera and Appu Bhattathiri taking care of the editing. The film hit the marquee last September.

With Prasobh Vijayan roping in Jayasurya for his new project, there is some anticipation on the genre the director has in mind for the versatile actor.

Recently, Jayasurya announced another upcoming film, titled Vellam. The movie will have him team up once again with director Prajesh Sen, who has earlier cast him in the award-winning role in Captain. In the film, Jayasurya portrayed the turbulent life of the late Indian footballer VP Sathyan.
