The title for the upcoming Allu Arjun starrer was announced a few days ago as Ala Vaikuntapuramlo. The shooting of this film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is progressing well with its release scheduled for early next year.

When this project commenced, there were reports that veteran actor Tabu will be staging a comeback into the Telugu film industry and it turned out to be true. The latest is that she will be paired opposite Jayaram in the movie. They reportedly play Allu Arjun’s parents in the film.

A tweet from the producers regarding Tabu’s inclusion in the star cast read: “Welcome aboard to the most versatile actress of our generation #Tabu garu to #AA19 team.”

Tabu is currently waiting for the release of the Hindi film Jawaani Jaaneman, which is in the post-production mode. Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the film is produced by Black Knight Films, Northern Lights Films and Pooja Entertainment. Saif Ali Khan plays the male lead in this family comedy, which is scheduled for release later this year.

Jayaram also confirmed being a part of Ala Vaikuntapuramlo by revealing it through his social media handle: “Pairing opposite Tabu in Allu Arjun movie.”

Ala Vaikuntapuramlo is produced jointly by Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna under their banner of Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations. The film features Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles with Nivetha Pethuraj reportedly playing Allu Arjun’s sister. It also stars Sushanth, Navdeep, Jayaram, Sathyaraj, Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji and Sunil in pivotal roles.

The technical crew of this film includes S Thaman for music, PS Vinod for cinematography and Navin Nooli for editing.

It may be noted here that Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas had worked together in two successful movies – Julai in 2012 and S/O Satyamurthy in 2015. With Ala Vaikuntapuramlo being their third film together, fans are expecting a hat trick from the duo.
