Jayam Ravi and director Shakti Rajan's second outing together – Tamil cinema's first space film Tik Tik Tik has now been wrapped up. The film is a space-based subject, and Jayam Ravi plays an astronaut.
Director Shakti Soundar Rajan tweeted, “And it’s a wrap for #TikTikTik!! @actor_jayamravi @immancomposer @JabaksMovies @NPethuraj @SonyMusicSouth @ThenandalFilms @proyuvraaj.”
This will mostly be the first ‘space’ film in Indian cinema that has been made on a reasonable budget and there will be no romance or songs in the film. A major portion of the film was canned in Ooty, Kodaikanal and in Chennai.
It has Nivetha Pethuraj as the female lead and popular Singaporean actor Aaron Aziz will be playing a powerful and menacing villain. It also stars Arjunan Nandakumar, Jayaprakash, Ramesh Thilak and Jayam Ravi’s son debuting as a child actor through it.
Bankrolled and produced by Nemichand Jhabak and Hitesh Jhabak, Kollywood's market king Thenandal Studios Limited have snapped the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights and will be targeting a large number of screens across the state. The music has been composed by D Imman while cinematography has been handled by S Venkatesh.
