Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday lashed out at Leader of Opposition and YSRCP chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and accused the latter of colluding with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Taking to Twitter, Naidu said, “Ask anyone with common sense who the B-team of BJP is and they will answer that its YSRCP. If you ask which is the ‘T-team’ that has put the self-respect of the people of Andhra Pradesh at KCR’s feet, they will say that it is YSRCP.”

“You should tell the people of Andhra Pradesh that you are not the B-team of the BJP and not a puppet in KCR’s hands. Then people will tell you who is the one that is shameless,” Naidu added.

Addressing a meeting in Vizianagaram district on Thursday, Naidu also said, “KCR has taken away assets that we built in Hyderabad for more than 60 years and is still trying to rule AP with the help of Jagan. KCR has already given Rs 1,000 crore to Jagan and he will try to pay Rs 5,000 for each vote. That is KCR’s return gift.”

In December last year, when the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) swept the Assembly polls in Telangana, KCR had hinted at a ‘return gift’ for TDP’s foray into Telangana politics.

“To increase the respect of Telugu people and to make national politics better, we have to work together. Chandrababu Naidu came here and worked, should I not work there (Andhra) too? He came to us with a gift. We will return the gift. If I don't return the gift, he will say Telangana has no manners,” KCR had told reporters.

Elections to the 175-member Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled for April 11. Polling for all 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana will also be held on the same day.
