The News Minute | September 26, 2014 | 12.10 pm ISTAfter the much hyped launch of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus some users are complaining that the phone warps while put in the trouser pockets. Read: More than 10 million iPhone 6 units sold on first weekend"We want to thank our clients who had made this the best release ever," Apple CEO Tim Cook had earlier said when the sales were burgeoning. However, the disgruntled users have now taken to the social media to share their trouble. The iPhone 6 with a 4.7 inch screen size has the largest screen of all iPhones and, with only 6.9 mm width it is also the thinnest of all. The Onion review had said that its durability was ‘fragile as a baby’s soft spot.’Read: Sophisticated rectangle, hideous rectangle: The Onion's comparison of iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5The bigger screens but thinner bodies of Apple’s new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus models have come at the cost of rigidity, The Guardian reported. The users found that their iPhones warped when they sat or bent with the Rs. 90,000 device in their trouser pockets. The body is made out an Aluminum alloy whose composition Apple has not revealed. The bend happened near the volume buttons where the width is least. (Photo courtesy Imgur)‘Surprisingly, the screen does not break when the phone bends – though it does if the phone is then bent back to a flat profile,’ The Guardian reported. However, the hardware part is not the only issue that the iPhone 6 users experienced. The iOS 8.0.1 upgrade that was launched by Apple had killed cell service and broken the touch ID. It was only on Thursday that the company launched iOS 8.0.2 to rectify the glitch.
