Rana Daggubati is one of the very few actors in India who has managed a career that spans across film industries. He has been successful not only in the Telugu film industry but in Bollywood as well. Baahubali was one of the milestone films that shot him to fame. In the film, he played the menacing villain Bhallaladeva, it may be recalled here.

In an interview to Indian Express, Rana said that he is a neutral actor who has no regional barriers so it fetches him some good roles. He was quoted as saying, “I interestingly fall under a category of neutral actors and filmmakers who have been constantly involved in content with no regional barriers.”

He added, “I was able to find that very early into my career because I started working in films at a very young age. In the process of filmmaking, language is only one of the aspects, content has always been neutral.”

On working in different languages, Rana says that as an actor one has to be very patient and know different languages. According to him, that holds the key to success.

Yet another bilingual, in Telugu and Hindi, Haathi Mere Saathi is also under production besides the Tamil film Enai Noki Paayum Thota directed by Gautham Menon in which he shares screen space with Dhanush. He is also working on the Malayalam film industry with Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma: The King of Travancore later this year.
