I am extremely blessed & have been showered with love.” The actor said that he is grateful to the people from the film industry, his fans, and audeince.

Allu Arjun is the grandson of actor Telugu Allu Ramalingaiah. His father, Allu Arvind, is a popular producer in Tollywood. Mega star Chiranjeevi is his uncle, which makes actor Ram Charan, his cousin.

Before making his entry into films as a male lead in Gangotri, Allu Arjun had appeared in brief roles in Vijetha (1985), Swathi Muthyam (1986), and Daddy (2001). Chiranjeevi was the main lead in both Vijetha and Daddy.

Even though Gangotri was Allu Arju’s debut film,  it was his second film, Arya (directed by Sukumar) which made him popular. Following Arya, Allu Arjun went on to act in several hit films like Bunny, Deshamudhuru, Arya 2, Vedam, Julayi, Iddarammayilatho, and Race Gurram, among others.

The actor’s 2020 release Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo earned him the tag “pan-India star” after the film became a huge success on OTT platforms too. The film was remade in Hindi as Shehzada starring Kartik Aaryan, but was not successful at the box office.

Followed by the success of  Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Allu Arjun starred in another blockbuster, Pushpa: The Rise, which released in 2021. At present, the production of the sequel, Pushpa: The Rule, is underway. The film stars notable actors like Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Earlier, it was speculated that actor Vijay Sethupathi would be part of Pushpa: The Rule. However, Vijay Sethupathi’s public relations officer (PRO) confirmed that the news was false.
