The Hyderabad traffic police have announced traffic diversions from November 16 to 20, in view of the Formula E race at NTR Marg which will commence from IMAX rotary on Necklace Road and proceed towards Telugu Thalli junction, new Secretariat, NTR Garden, Mint Compound and back to IMAX. NTR Garden, NTR Ghat, Necklace Road and Lumbini Park will be closed from November 18 to 20 due to the Formula E Race. On November 19 and 20, traffic is likely to congested at VV Statue (Khairatabad) junction, Old Saifabad police station junction, Ravindra Bharathi junction, Mint Compound road, Telugu Thalli junction, Necklace rotary, Nalla Gutta junction, Katta Maisamma temple (Lower Tank Bund) and Tank Bund.
The following traffic diversions will be in place over the next five days, depending on the local situation.
> Traffic from VV statue in Khairatabad towards Khairatabad flyover will not be allowed towards Necklace rotary. It will be diverted at VV statue towards Shadan college and Ravindra Bharathi.
> Traffic from Budda Bhavan/Nallagutta junction towards Necklace rotary will be diverted at Nallagutta junction towards Ranigunj/Tank Bund
> Traffic from Rasoolpura/Minister Road towards Necklace rotary via Nallagutta will be diverted at Nallagutta junction towards Ranigunj
> Traffic from Iqbal Minar junction towards Telugu Thalli junction and Tank Bund will have to embark Telugu Thalli flyover towards Katta Maisamma temple/Lower Tank Bund
> Traffic from Tank Bund/Telugu Thalli towards Necklace rotary will be diverted at Telugu Thalli junction towards Iqbal Minar/Ravindra Bharathi junction
> Traffic from BRKR Bhavan towards Necklace rotary will be diverted at Telugu Thalli junction towards Iqbal Minar/Ravindra Bharathi junction
> Traffic from Iqbal Minar junction towards Mint Compound lane will be diverted at Iqbal Minar junction towards Ravindra Bharathi junction
> Traffic from Khairatabad Bada Ganesh lane towards Printing Press junction or Necklace rotary will be diverted at Bada Ganesh towards Rajdooth lane
Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) buses coming from Afzalgunj towards Secunderabad will avoid the Tank Bund road and go via Telugu Thalli flyover, Katta Maisamma, Lower Tank Bund, DBR Mills and Kavadiguda.
