Huawei has officially launched its new mid-segment smartphone the Huawei P Smart (2019). The phone appears to be made available to buyers in Europe and the UK, but Huawei may follow through with its introduction in the other markets as well.
The Huawei P Smart (2019) has a 6.21inch full HD+ display that has a screen resolution of 1080x2340pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 leaving the full real estate for viewing images and videos and playing games. There is a water or dewdrop notch to house the front camera.
Huawei has fitted its octa core Kirin 710 processor supported by 3GB RAM. The internal storage provided in this Huawei P Smart (2019) smartphone is 64GB. This is a dual SIM phone with one hybrid slot meant for the microSD card or the second SIM. The microSD card can take the storage to 512GB.
The camera section finds a dual 13MP+2MP sensor setup in the rear and an 8MP selfie camera in the front. There are flash and AI supports along with other features making the photography experience with the device quite immersive.
The battery fitted is 3400mAh and Huawei claims that it can hold on to deliver 10 hours of browsing, 18 hours of video playback and 96 hours of non-stop music playback. That must be quite a welcome feature for many users. You will have the full suite of connectivity options and onboard sensors. Sticking to the fingerprint sensor in the rear panel, the shone has a 3.5mm jack for audio out.
As mentioned, the phone was being sold online, first in Europe, and now many carriers across the UK will also be offering the device both in the unlocked condition as well as bundled. There is no official communication from Huawei on the price of the Huawei P Smart (2019) so far, but based on the online listing, it is being offered at â‚¬249 (around Rs 20,000).
