The latest phone from Huawei’s Honor range, the Honor 7X has since been launched. While the international launch event was held in London, the device will be made available to the Indian market also through an exclusive arrangement with Amazon.com online retail.

The specifications of the Honor 7X look quite impressive starting with a 5.93-inch full screen display. With the screen resolution reading 2160x1080, it’s a full HD LCD display and the bezels have been kept to the minimum offering an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Huawei continues with its policy of trusting its in-house CPU, the Hi Silicon Kirin 659 that clocks a mighty 2.36GHz speed. The architecture is octa-core in size. The Honor 7X is being made available in 2 variants, a 3GB RAM plus 32GB internal storage and a 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant. The OS will be the Android Nougat, version 7.1 and Huawei’s user interface, the EMUI 5.1 riding on it. The phone’s storage capacity can be expanded by inserting a micro SD card and take it to 256GB.

The camera setup in the rear sees a dual sensor setup with 16MP and 2MP cameras and the front camera will be of 8MP size. The battery is a moderate one at 3340mAh and the connectivity options complete. The Honor 7X is being launched in 4 colors, Blue, Black, Red and Gold.

With these decent specifications, Huawei has kept the price of the Honor 7X at Rs 12,599 only for the 3GB/32GB model and Rs 15,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant. These are official prices for India on Amazon.

A comparison of the specs and the features the Honor 7X comes with and those that the other phones mentioned above, Xiaomi Mi A1, Nokia 6, Lenovo K8 Note and Xiaomi Redmi Note indicates that it stands well and can indeed be successful as buyers start using the phone and appreciate its performance.
