HP has launched a new convertible HP Elite Dragonfly, which can be used as a PC as well as a tablet. The machine has a 13inch display. There are many highlights to this new computer from HP. The company claims its battery can last up to 24 ½ hours. Another feature that is being touted as the world’s first is 4x4 LTE antenna. The HP Elite Dragonfly has dual connectivity options, the latest Wi-Fi 6 as well as 4G LTE. HP also says it is preloading its inhouse HP “Workwell” software in this machine. It weighs below 1kg which is in itself an impressive USP.

Some of the features of the HP Elite Dragonfly include a CNC-machined Magnesium that has been finished to an appealing iridescent Dragonfly Blue. The backlit keyboard hardly emits any sound and the glass touchpad gives a premium feel.

An 8th Gen Intel® Core™ vPro™ processor powers this HP Elite Dragonfly convertible and is part of the “Project Athena” of Intel.

On Wi-Fi 6, HP says it offers a much better speed than Wi-Fi 5 particularly while making file transfers and other situations. Some of HP’s proprietary products like HP Sure Sense and HP Sure Recover are part of the features included in this device as standard. The former provides the security while the latter needs to be configured by the user upon purchase.

The HP “Workwell” is more like a fitness app on your mobile that keeps reminding you of when to take a break and so on.

HP has launched a couple of monitors as well. The HP S430c Curved Ultrawide Monitor and the HP E344c Curved Monitor are the two. As the monikers suggest, the first is a 43.4inch monitor while the second one is 34inch.

The HP S430c curved ultrawide monitor has the feature HP Device Bridge, a new technology that allows users to seamlessly and simultaneously control two PCs. Users can view, copy, and paste between devices with a single keyboard and mouse.

The HP Elite Dragonfly is priced at $1549 and above, and its market appearance starts October 25. Of the two monitors, the lower HP 344c will be out by October 7 and will be priced at $599. The HP430c will be out only by November 4 and will cost you $949.
