Here's how director SS Rajamouli is contributing to Andhra's capital Amaravati

It has been more than two years, since the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh into Telangana and Andhra.

While Hyderabad has been declared as the common capital for the two states, Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has already begun building a new capital, Amaravati, in the Vijayawada – Guntur region.

Wanting the capital to be world-class in all aspects, Naidu has roped in a London-based company to work on the architecture.

Further, a special request was made to director SS Rajamouli to give inputs to the company on the Indian ethos.

The Baahubali director is thoroughly happy to assist in this regard and has given his full consent.

It is worth mentioning here that Rajamouli’s Baahubali, which was a period film, was full of architectural splendour.

The same amount of creativity and work would certainly go into the making of Amaravati.

SS Rajamouli is currently busy directing the sequel to Baahubali, which has Prabhas, Anushka, Tammannah, Rana, Sathyaraj and others in the lead.

The film is slotted for release next year.
