Several months ago, there were reports that director Lingusamy will be wielding the megaphone for a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu that will have Allu Arjun in the lead. However, for certain reasons, this project did not take off, making film buffs wonder if it was still in the pipeline. But it has become clear from the latest reports that Allu Arjun will not be a part of the movie. It has also been revealed that Havish will be facing the arc lights in the Lingusamy directorial.

Havish made his debut as an actor with the Telugu film Nuvvila in 2011 with a small role. Later in 2015, he was seen in the main role in Ram Leela but the film turned out to be a box office dud. Recently, he played the hero in the Tamil – Telugu bilingual Seven directed by Nizar Shafi.

Sources in the know say that Allu Arjun opted out of the Lingusamy directorial due to his busy schedule.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s project with Trivikram Srinivas went on the floors a couple of months ago and the team has completed the first schedule successfully. The second schedule is currently on. The film is being bankrolled jointly by Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna under the banners Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations respectively. The technical crew of this film includes S Thaman for music, PS Vinod for cinematography and Naveen Nooli for editing.

The star cast of this film includes Pooja Hegde as the heroine. Veteran actor Tabu is also a part of the star cast and Sushanth of Chi La Sow fame has recently been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. There is no official word yet on the title and the filmmakers seem to be tight-lipped about it for now. More news on this project is awaited.
