Hansika, one of the top ranking heroines in the southern film circuit, has denied rumors that she is playing the female lead opposite Saravanan Arul, the chairman of Saravanan Stores, a leading chain of stores in India.

In a statement issued, she has said, “I would like to thank all press-media friends and fans, who I believe are the pillars of my journey as an artist from the very beginning till now. It is with their earnest encouragements and right criticisms; I am able to discover my potentials and be a part of unique movies. This morning, I came across news being published on my next film, which is completely a baseless rumor.”

Incidentally, Hansika is the brand ambassador for Saravana Stores and has appeared in the store’s commercials with Saravanan Arul.

Hansika is currently busy with a number of films including Maha. It is a thriller film written and directed by UR Jameel and produced by Mathi Azhagan under the banner Etcatera Entertainment. Maha is Hansika Motwani’s 50th film and also has Srikanth.

The technical crew of this film includes John Abraham JR for editing and the music by Mohamaad Ghibran. Silambarasan will be seen in an extended cameo in this flick and scenes involving him and Hansika have been shot in London.

She also has the Telugu flick Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL, starring Sundeep Kishan. Wielding the megaphone for this venture is G Nageshwara Rao. Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL is touted to be a comedy entertainer, a genre that the director is adept in.

The film is about a newbie lawyer looking for clients and how he manages to take up cases. Murali Sharma is part of the star cast as well. Sai Kartheek is the music composer for Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL.
