The News Minute | September 27, 2014 | 10.15 am ISTProhibitory orders have been imposed in a village in Dharwad district after tension continued over a communal clash that broke out on Thursday killing one person.According to news reports, Koreppa Javur (32) succumbed to his injuries on Friday. The district administration announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh.Praveen Neelammanavar, sub-inspector of Anigeri police station has been suspended. Sri Rama Sene leader and office bearer Srinivas Giraddi had complained that the sub-inspector had failed to take his complaint after he was assaulted on Thursday morning. Giraddi and some other Sene members had been attacked by a group of people.The police have imposed prohibitory orders in the area and will be in force until September 27. Javur’s last rites were performed on Friday, which Sri Rama Sene founder Pramod Muthalik attended. Deputy Commissioner of Dharwad Rajendra Cholan, Navalgund MLA N.H. Konaraddi, the former MLA Shankar Patil Munenakoppa visited the village.
