According to the buzz doing rounds in the tinsel town, music composer turned actor GV Prakash Kumar may soon be sharing screen space with the Lady Superstar Nayanthara.
Basking in the great response for his performance in Bala’s Naachiyaar, actor-composer GV Prakash Kumar has signed the deal to star in a movie to be directed by AL Vijay and talks are on with Nayan to play the female lead. With nearly half a dozen projects in his kitty, Prakash has sworn to choose interesting projects post Naachiyaar. However, Nayan is yet to give her assent as she is busy with a number of projects including the magnum opus, Sye Raa, in which she gets to work with the stalwarts of the film industry, Amitabh Bachchan and Chiranjeevi.
GV Prakash Kumar shares a good rapport with director AL Vijay after having composed music for his directorials such as Thalaivaa, Deiva Thirumagal and Thaandavam. More details about this project are expected to be revealed soon.
Having begun his career as a singer and then as a music composer, GV Prakash composed music for the critically acclaimed film Veyyi for the first time and went on to work in films such as Oram Po, Kireedam, Kuselan, Aayirathil Oruvan, Aadukalam, Visaranai.
As an actor, he made a cameo appearance in the Rajinikanth starrer Kuselan and after a couple of guest appearance in films such as Naan Rajavaga Pogiren and Thalaivaa, he made his debut as hero with Darling in 2015. Since then, he has acted in films such as Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Pencil, Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru and Naachiyar.
With not a single release in 2017, Prakash has a very busy line up this year. He has a bunch of films in the post-production mode, including Semma, 4G, Ayngaran, and Adangathey. Currently, he is busy shooting for Tamil remake of Telugu films 100% Love and Sarvam Thaala Mayam. His next project with director Adhik Ravichandran is expected to go on the floors in a couple of months. This film will have Amyra Dastur playing the female lead. On the music front, his next project will be Suriya - Sudha Kongara project.
