GST becomes a reality today – and those are the words we are all waking up to today.
As GST rolls out, the customs and excise department has taken out advertisements on the frontpages of newspapers across India. The two-page advertisement talks about the single tax system which the entire nation will now have to follow, and states that ‘81% of items fall below/in 18% GST slab’.
