After Apple slashed prices across its range of products, Taiwanese major Asus too, has announced post-GST price cuts on five of its phones.
According to a report by Gadgets 360, prices have been reduced by as much as Rs 3000. While Asus has not announced this officially yet, retailers have told gadgets 360 that Asus retail partners have been told about the revision in price.
Here’s a list of smartphones from Asus that have seen a price cut
The price of Asus Zenfone 3 (ZE552KL) launched in August 2016 has been slashed from Rs 19,999 to Rs 16,999. However, the phone was first launched at Rs 27,999 after which the price was cut. This is the 5.5-inch display version of the Zenfone 3, which comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory.
The price of the 5.2-inch version of the Zenfone 3 (ZE520KL) has also seen a price cut of Rs 2000. This phone was launched at a price of Rs 21,999, the smartphone then slashed to Rs 17,999. Post this price cut, the phone will now cost Rs 15,999.
Another version of the Zenfone 3 – the Asus Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) was launched at Rs 17,999, which was then cut to Rs 15,999. The price of this phone has now been slashed by Rs 1000 to Rs 14,999. The Zenfone 3 Max is a 5.5-inch smartphones with 3GB of RAM.
The phone’s 5.2-inch version – Zenfone 3S Max (ZC521TL) has seen a price cut of Rs 2000 and is now being retailed at Rs 12,999.
This phone’s less-powerful sibling, the Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL), was launched in India at Rs 12,999 has also seen a price cut of Rs 2000 and is now available at Rs. 10,999.
