GE’s digital Industrial internet of things (IIoT) arm is partnering with Hyderabad-based startup Engine T-Hub is host PREDIX 2019, an event that will focus on IIoT applications aiding the development of industries across the world. This community meetup will discuss the future and scope of what GE calls the engine of Industry 4.0, along with the advanced technology solutions and digital opportunities. The community meetup will take place at T-Hub’s campus in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Several executives from GE Digital, including Dr William E. Amos, Corporate Vice President of Predix Platform and Applications, Sambit Kumar Sarkar, Senior Architect, Naren Gopalkrishna Principal Technical Product Manager, GE Digital will be present at the event to talk about how Predix can boost the digital transformation taking place and how industries can driving convergence of operations through data driven decisions using a combination of minds and machines.

Ramesh Loganathan, Ramesh Loganathan, Professor of Practice (co-innovations) at IIIT-Hyderabad, Ravi Narayan, CEO of T-Hub and Shanta Thoutam, vice president (Corporate innovation) at T-Hub will also be present at the community meetup.

Predix is GE’s Industrial IoT arm, which is spun into a separate company in December 2018.

This community meetup comes at a time when T-Hub and the startup ecosystem in Hyderabad is organising various meetups across sectors to boost innovation and entrepreneurship in the space. Earlier this year, T-Hub partnered with the Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) to organise a meetup for all startups in the Software As A Service (SAAS) space called T-SaaS. The idea was to invite SaaS startups in the space to share and learn from each other.
