The News Minute | September 21, 2014 | 8 am IST This not something that parents want their children to be known for. In 2009, Emma Vignes’ daughter was born without any blood in her tiny body, as she had absorbed all the blood of the baby.  But knowing that her daughter Maisy is fine, and has started school after making a full recovery is definitely relieving for Emma, The Independent reported.  Maisy was born with a haemoglobin count of zero, and a plasma-like substance in her veins. She had to be given blood transfusions and platelet transfusions. Emma told The Independent that she knew of a baby being born with a haemoglobin count of four, and that a human being suriving with practically no blood was “unheard of”.
