But knowing that her daughter Maisy is fine, and has started school after making a full recovery is definitely relieving for Emma, The Independent reported. Maisy was born with a haemoglobin count of zero, and a plasma-like substance in her veins. She had to be given blood transfusions and platelet transfusions.Emma told The Independent that she knew of a baby being born with a haemoglobin count of four, and that a human being suriving with practically no blood was “unheard of”.
