The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the upscale Social in Lower Parel, Mumbai where Bengaluru’s entrepreneur Eshwar Vikas invited Prince William to try his hand at making dosas with automated machines. While the Prince not only made the southern delicacy but also described it as delicious, The Telegraph reported that, “Kate was ‘cagey’ about the automatic dosa and refused to try it.”
When the Duchess “ruined” her feet by going bare feet
According to Daily Mail, the Duchess who “carefully” packed 15 outfits for the 5-day visit, should not have neglected the pre-tour preparation of getting a pedicure. The article states that, “the royal's feet reveal a few podiatric problems caused by wearing high, pointed heels”, and added that the enlargement of her toe joint could possibly lead to arthritis.
When she “revealed” her secret of staying slim
If you thought the media was done and dusted with chasing celebrities for their pro-tips at staying slim, you are sorely mistaken. None other than Time.com carried a story about how Kate revealed to a party of guests at a tea-party, that she managed to stay slim even after two pregnancies because she keeps “running behind her kids.”
When they “suggested” that George and Charlotte wouldn’t mind another sibling
Britain’s eonline.com carried an article headlined, “Penises, Pot and Princess Diana”, in which they described that the houses and buildings of Bhutan, which they are to visit, are covered with “hand painted pictures of pansies”, and will provide a few “opportunities” for the Royal Couple.
When Kate had her “Marilyn Monroe” moment
India’s very own The Times of India, however, takes the cake for the most ridiculous coverage. The national daily carried a questionable photo on the front page of the newspaper, captioning it an “anxious moment as she struggled to manage her unruly dress.” The coverage received immense flak from the social networks with the newspaper being branded as “Sexual Harasser in Newspaper Form.”
