The shooting of Agni Siragugal began a few weeks ago and the first schedule was wrapped up recently. Confirming it, the film’s director M Naveen had posted online, “1st schedule shoot completed. Agni Siragugal has Arun Vijay and Vijay Anthony playing the lead roles with Shalini Pandey playing the woman lead. The others in the star cast include Jagapathi Babu, Nassar and Prakash Raj in important roles.
With the first schedule wrapped up, the team is gearing up for the second schedule. The film unit will reportedly fly down to some exotic locations in Europe to film some portions during the second schedule. According to reports doing the rounds, though Agni Siragugal is touted to be an action entertainer, it will have emotional content as well.
The technical crew of this film includes Natarajan Sankaran for composing the music and KA Batcha wielding the camera. The film is being bankrolled by T Siva under his banner Amma Creations.
On the completion of the first schedule, the producer has reportedly said that he is happy with the way that project is shaping up. He also lauded director Naveen, the actors and the technical crew for their hard work and for completing the first schedule before the deadline. The producer added that he is waiting for the completion of the film so that he can get to see the end result from his talented team.
It may be noted here that Naveen made his debut as director with the 2013 release Moodar Koodam, a dark comedy that tread a very unconventional path in Tamil cinema. He is also working on another film titled Alaudhinin Arputha Camera, believed to be a fantasy adventure thriller.
