The first look of the Malayalam movie Manoharam was released on Mammootty’s social media page recently and has gone viral. The film has Vineeth Sreenivasan playing the lead role with Anwar Sadik helming the project as its director.

Incidentally, the actor and director had collaborated for Ormayundo Ee Mukham earlier. The film had Namitha Pramod and Aju Varghese as female leads. Shaan Rahman had composed music for this flick with Jithu Damodar as a cinematographer and John Kutty as editor.

Manoharam has Deepak Parambol, Basil Joseph, Aparna Das, Delhi Ganesh, Indrans, Hareesh Perady, Jude Anthany Joseph and VK Prakash in the supporting roles. The technical crew of Manoharam includes Sajeev Thomas — a former associate of AR Rahman, for composing music, Jebin Jacob for cinematography and Nithin Raj for editing. Jos Chakkalakkal is bankrolling the film under the banner Chakkalakkal Films. More details about Manoharam are expected to be out soon.

It may be noted that Vineeth Sreenivasan is a reputable actor and director in the Malayalam film industry. His last directorial was Jacobinte Swargarajyam. As an actor, he was last seen as a hero in the movie Aravindante Athidhikal. Directed by M Mohanan, the film had Vineeth’s dad Sreenivasan in a pivotal role as well. Produced by Pradeep Kumar Pathiyara and Noble Babu Thomas under the banners Pathiyara Entertainments and Big Bang Entertainments, this Mollywood movie hit the marquee on the April 27, 2018. Shaan Rahman was the music director for this film with Swaroop Philip cranking the camera and Ranjan Abraham editing. The star cast of Aravindante Athidhikal, apart from Vineeth Sreenivasan and his real-life dad Sreenivasan, included Aju Varghese, Salim Kumar, Urvashi, Shanthi Krishna and Shammi Thilakan while Nikhila Vimal was paired opposite Vineeth.
