It has been officially announced by the makers of ‘Iru Mugan’ that Vikram plays a dual role in the espionage-thriller film.
However, it has been kept as a secret about the two roles played by Vikram. It is learnt that one could be a negative character, but this remains to be a suspense that makers don’t want to reveal.
Moreover, it has been mentioned that the first look teaser of this film will be released on April 17 at 6 pm on the occasion of Vikram’s birthday. The film’s shooting is almost completed.
Nayantara and Nithya Menen are playing the female lead roles and Karunakaran is appearing as a comedian.
The film is now on a full stretch of shooting across the locales of Chennai and a couple of songs featuring Nithya Menen and Nayantara each with Vikram would be finished during this schedule. Soon, the entire crew will be flying down to Thailand and Bangkok for completing other portions.
Harris Jayaraj is composing the music for the film, while R D Rajeshekar is handling the camera.
Some reports claim that the theatrical release of Iru Mugan could happen on the festive occasion of Eid.
