Fans of Nivin Pauly are waiting for the release of his upcoming film Mikhael. The shooting of this film is almost over and it is gearing up for release, say sources. Meanwhile, the first look poster featuring Nivin Pauly has been released and it is going viral among his fans.

Touted to be a family entertainer, Mikhael will have elements of a thriller as well. Reports are that Nivin Pauly will be playing a doctor in this flick. The film also has actor Unni Mukundan playing an important role as well. However, his character in it has not been revealed yet. Manjima Mohan plays the female lead in Mikhael and the film also has JD Chakravarthy, Siddique, Renji Panicker, Ashokan, Shanthi Krishna, Kalabhavan Shajon and KPAC Lalitha playing supporting roles.

Nivin has earlier written, “Super excited to announce my next project with one of the most stylish filmmaker #HaneefAdeni!! Titled #Mikhael, the film will be produced by my dearest #AntoJoseph! Rolling soon!” The film is directed by Haneef Adeni and bankrolled by Joseph Anto under his banner Anto Joseph Film Company.

Haneef Adeni made his directorial debut with the Mammootty starrer The Great Father and has penned the Shaji Padoor directorial Abrahaminte Santhathikal, which also had Mammootty in the lead role.

Nivin’s  last release Kayamkulam Kochunni turned out to be a big hit and the star currently has the Geethu Mohandas directorial Moothon needing his attention. The shooting of this film is currently underway. A bilingual to be released in Malayalam and Hindi, the film also features actors Sobhita Dhulipala, Shashank Arora, Harish Khanna, Alencier Ley Lopez and Dileesh Pothan. The film, which is about a younger sibling going in search of the elder, is being bankrolled by Aanand L Rai, Ajay G Rai and Alan McAlex under the banner Colour Yellow Productions and JAR Pictures.
