The first look of Savyasachi is out and Naga Chaitanya, the film’s lead star, is captivating fans with his intense look in a big way.

Releasing the first look online, the actor had tweeted: “Here you go guys the first look .. hope you like it #Savyasachi.”

Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film has Naga Chaitanya and Madhavan playing the lead roles with Bhoomika Chawla and debutant Nidhi Agarwal as the female leads. Maddy, who was last seen in a cameo in Om Shanti some years ago, will be seen in a major role in a Telugu film for the first time in his career.

According to reports, Bhoomika Chawla will be seen playing the hero’s sister while Nidhi Agarwal will be the love interest. Maddy has a meaty role to play in the film as well. Vennela Kishore, Dishita Sehgal and Rao Ramesh play supporting roles in this action entertainer.

While fans have been wondering about the film’s title, Naga Chaitanya put it to rest by tweeting: “Just in case you were wondering #SavyaSachi = ambidextrous.”  Apparently, the title was the fifth name given to Arjuna, the legendary warrior from the epic Mahabharata. It refers to ambidexterity and was given to Arjuna as he could handle the bow in both hands with equal flair.

This action entertainer is produced by Mohan Cherukuri, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili and Naveen Yerneni under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. The film’s crew includes MM Keeravani for music, J Yuvaraj for cinematography, Venkateswara Rao Kotagiri for editing, S Rama Krishna and Monika Niggotre for art direction, and Ram and Lakshmi Chella for stunt choreography.

Naga Chaitanya, whose last release was Yuddham Sharanam last year, will have his first film release this year with Savyasachi. He also has another film, Sailaja Reddy Alludu, lined up for release this year.
