Allu Arjun has had a good year so far with his film, Duvvada Jagannadham, turning out to be a big hit. 

One of the most anticipated films of next year would be the Allu Arjun starrer Naa Peru Surya, a patriotic action entertainer.

The makers have unveiled a poster announcing that the 'first impact' of Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India will be unveiled on January 1, as a New Year treat.

The movie marks the directorial debut of story writer Vakkantham Vamsi an ace script writer who had worked in films like Race Gurram, Temper, Yevadu and Kick.

Incidentally, in his long career, Allu Arjun had worked with only two debut directors, While the first was Sukumar, the second happens to be Vakkantham Vamsi.

The film has Anu Emmanuel as the leading lady, While, the ‘Stylish Star’ will be playing a soldier in the film, and the entire movie will be set against the backdrop of a war.

For his role as an army officer in Naa Peru Surya, Allu Arjun underwent rigorous training in the US for nearly a month. The actor is known for taking his roles seriously and gets into the skin of the character by doing a lot of groundwork before it commences

The Karnataka distribution rights have been bagged by Brunda Associates. Apparently, a huge amount has been paid for the rights but the exact amount has not been disclosed yet.

Produced by Sirisha Sridhar and Bunny Vas, the film is scheduled to hit the screens on April 27. The film's music is composed by Bollywood duo Vishal and Shekhar.

Apart from Naa Peru Surya, Allu Arjun also has another project in his kitty which will be directed by N Lingusamy. The director has announced that his film with Allu Arjun will go on the floors after the star is done with his current assignment.

Reports suggest that the shooting of this untitled bilingual would begin in summer 2018 and the groundwork for it has begun.
