The shooting of Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming film has been wrapped up and the post production has begun. Interestingly, the team is yet to reveal the title of this film. Directed by debutant Vivek, it has been scripted by writer PF Mathews, author of ‘Chaavunilam’, which also became the setting for his script for Ee. Ma. Yau. Reports are that Fahadh’s untitled film is a thriller with its backdrop being a psychiatric hospital in Ooty.

While Fahadh Faasil will be playing the lead role in this film, sharing screen space with him will be the Premam fame Sai Pallavi. Premam was her debut in the Malayalam film industry and she had won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut - South for her performance in it. Her character Malar in the film catapulted her to the star status following which she started to bag prestigious offers in Tamil and Telugu. The actor went on to act in another Malayalam film Kali, opposite Dulquer Salmaan, which was released in 2016. After that, Sai Pallavi did not sign up any film in Mollywood, leaving her fans disappointed. The Fahadh Faasil starrer will mark her comeback after three years.

Sai Pallavi is currently busy playing the female lead in NGK, which is being directed by Selvaraghavan. She will be sharing screen space with Suriya. Her last film release in Tamil was the Dhanush starrer Maari 2, which went on to do well at the box office. Especially the dance song ‘Rowdy Baby’ has caught on, and brought on more fan following for Sai Pallavi, for her agile moves.

Fahadh’s next film release will be Kumbalangi Nights. The film, directed by Madhu Narayanan, is scripted by Syam Pushkaran. Shane Nigam is sharing screen space with Fahadh Faasil in this film. According to latest reports doing rounds, Fahadh will be seen as the main villain and will reportedly be playing a psycho in this movie.
