Both Fahadh Faasil and Tovino Thomas are basking in glory over their respective releases, Varuthan and Oru Kuprasidha Payyan turning out to be huge hits at the box office. And now, these two talented stars are gearing up for a box office clash. Reports are that both their films are headed for Christmas release and are touted to be fun family entertainers.
Tovino’s Ente Ummante Peru and Fahadh’s Njan Prakashan are expected to come out at the same time.
Written jointly by Sarath R Nath and Jose Sebastian, Ente Ummante Peru is directed by the latter. The technical crew of this film includes Gopi Sunder for composing the tunes with Jordi Planell Closa cranking the camera and Mahesh Narayanan editing. Santhosh Raman is the production designer for this entertainer with Sameera Saneesh designing the costumes and Amal in charge of the make-up. Besides Tovino Thomas and Urvashi, the film also has Hareesh Kanaran and Mammukoya in pivotal roles. The film has Sai Priya making her debut as heroine. It is bankrolled by Anto Joseph under his banner Anto Joseph Film Company in association with Al Tari movies.
Fahadh Faasil starrer Njan Prakashan is directed by Sathyan Anthikad with whom the actor is associating for the second time. Their first venture together was Oru Indian Pranayakadha which turned out to be a success. Njan Prakashan has been penned by Sathyan Anthikad and Sreenivasan jointly. The teaser of the film is already out, creating waves among film buffs, considering the popularity of films Sathyan Anthikad and Sreenivasan have created together in the past.
With Tovino and Fahadh set for a box office clash, it would be interesting to see how the two films fare. Interestingly, both the stars have a slew of films lined up for release and they will be ending the year with the release of these two films.
