The News Minute | May 27, 2014 | 10:26 AM IST Students of English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) protested against the management by burning a headless effigy of its Vice Chancellor - Sunaina Singh. The protest is against three causes, repression, delay in the revocation of the expulsion of three students and the alleged dubious nature of the Vice Chancellor. The students began with a rally, which eventually proceeded to burning a headless effigy of the VC. The students say that similar effigies are being burnt in all campuses in Telangana. They also demanded the withdrawal of police forces from campus and immediate revocation of the expelled students. They added that the protests will continue until the VC is removed from her office. Students allege that the VC uses police force as a tool for administration. The VC repeatedly push for apologies so that she can consider the issue in the name of sympathy. They also claim that the VC is concerned whether they have written to the Ministry of Human Resource Development about her.
