With shooting of the Dulquer’s Malayalam film Oru Yamandan Premakatha is reaching the final stages the makers planning a Vishu release. The film may hit the marquee on April 12th this year and the team is gearing up to meet this deadline. Directed by BC Boufal, who is making his debut, the film’s script has been penned by popular writer duo Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George.

According to reports, Malayalam channel Asianet has bagged the satellite rights of the film for a whopping price.

Oru Yamandan Premakatha is also touted to be commercial entertainer on the lines of the writer duo’s previous works, Amar Akbar Anthony and Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan. Dulquer will be seen as a local Malayali chap in the movie. The audience have also been promised an unseen fun side of Dulquer in this movie.

The film has Samyuktha Menon and Nikhila Vimal sharing the screen space with the lead star along with a host of other actors such as Salim Kumar, Soubin Shahir, Hareesh Kanaran, Dharmajan, Bibin and Vishnu Unnikrishnan in pivotal and supporting roles

Dulquer has been successfully juggling his projects in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu film industries. It may be noted here that Dulquer is busy with the Bollywood flick Zoya Factor right now. The film is based on the novel with the same title penned by Anuja Chauhan. It is about an advertising agency executive, Zoya Singh Solanki getting to meet the Indian Cricket Team and turning out to be their lucky mascot which eventually helps the team to lift the Cricket World Cup in 2010.

 The actor also has the Tamil film Vaan, directed by RA Karthik needing his attention. He has also signed two other Malayalam films. While Sukumara Kurup to be directed by Srinath Rajendran, is one important project in his kitty, Dulquer has signed a new film with director Mahesh Narayanan of Take Off fame.

It was speculated that  Dulquer might star in a multi-starrer with tollywood star Nani which would be a thriller that will have the audiences at the edge-of-the-seat throughout the screening. But he could not take up the offer due to his prior work commitments.
