Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming film Solo has been making it to the headlines ever since its commencement last year.

Recently, a picture from the film which shows Dulquer Salmaan sporting an army officer uniform has found its way to the internet and it has gone viral.

The star looks dashing in the uniform and it has raised the expectation levels among film buffs. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Solo is a collection of four short films.

In the movie, Dulquer, will be appearing in different get-ups, and going by the photo, one of the roles would be that of an army officer.

The film has five heroines in the star cast and they are Arthi Venkatesh, Sruthi Hariharan, Sai Tamhankar, Dhansika and Asha Jairam.

Veteran actors Manoj K Jayan, R Parthipan, Nasser, Prakash Belawadi, Dino Morea, Suhasini and Bengali film-maker Quashiq Mukherjee are also included in the cast.

According to reports, Suhasini and Nasser will be playing Dulquer’s parents in one of the segments of this anthology.

During an interview, Dino Morea, who has been roped in to play an important role, had said that Bejoy Nambiar is directing four different short stories to make it into a feature film and he will be playing an army officer in one of the segments.

The shooting of Solo is progressing at a brisk pace in Lonavala. Director Bejoy Nambiar is also reportedly making this film simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil.

Written and directed by Nambiar, the film is produced by him jointly with Abraham Mathew under the banners Getaway Films and Abaam Films.

Govind Menon and Siddharth Menon are wielding the music baton for this romantic thriller with Sanu Varghese cranking the camera. 

With Dulquer Salmaan sporting different looks in Solo, fans just can’t wait to know more about this anthology.
