The video teaser, going by the name Kerala Street, has been creating a buzz online with a lot of speculation on it. All that has now come to an end with Dulquer Salmaan, who was featured in it, revealing what it is all about.

According to the star, it is a commercial he had shot for the leading newspaper Malayala Manorama. On his Facebook post, he wrote, “So here's something Martin Prakkat, Jomon T John, Gopi Sunder, and I have came together again for. The new TVC for Malayala Manorama! Was such a lovely shoot in Fort Kochi as always, thank you for all the love. I'm sure you'll all enjoy this as much as we did making it. Also excuse my singing again.”

Interestingly, the same team – Dulquer Salmaan, Martin Prakkat, Jomon T John, and Gopi Sunder – had teamed for the film Charlie which released in the 2015 and went on to become a huge hit. Charlie was a romantic drama which had Dulquer and Parvathy playing the lead pair. The film had Aparna Gopinath, Nedumudi Venu and Soubin Shahir in pivotal roles. Martin Prakkat had directed the venture with the screenplay penned by him and Unni R. The film’s story was Unni R's.

The film was a big success at the box office and collected Rs. 42 crore. Gopi Sunder composed music for Charlie while the cinematography was handled by Jomon T. John. It is interesting that the same hit team had come together for the commercial.

He is currently busy with the Hindi flick Karwaan which is due for release on August 14th and the Tamil movie Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal.
