Everyone knows that Dulquer Salmaan has been concentrating on other language films for the past few months. He will soon be returning to to Malayalam cinema with Oru Yamandan Premakadha. The shooting of this film began about five months ago and is now in progress.

The young star is, in fact, busy, hopping from one set to another and has rejoined the sets of Oru Yamandan Premakadha. On the occasion, he posted online: “Utterly thrilled to restart Oru Yamandan Premakadha !! But it's such a fun happy and hilarious set that I feel like no time has passed between scheds ! Of course, seen in the pic are the hilarious and heartwarming Salim Ettan, my machan Saubi and the wonderful Vishnu and Bibin ! If you're all wondering who the other fine gent right next to me is, he's one of the boatmen helping us with the shoot ! And I kid you not, his name is Sputnik ! How epic a name is that ? He was born a year after Russia launched Sputnik 1 into orbit in '57. So his folks named him Sputnik. Was the highlight of my day !”

Oru Yamandan Premakadha is directed by BC Boufal, who will be making his debut. The film’s script has been penned by popular writer duo Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George. Touted to be a comedy entertainer, this Malayalam film has Samyuktha Menon and Nikhila Vimal sharing screen space with Dulquer, besides a host of other actors in pivotal and supporting roles.

It may be noted here that Dulquer is busy with the Bollywood flick The Zoya Factor right now, and he also has the Tamil film Vaan, directed by RA Karthik needing his attention. He has also signed two other Malayalam films. There is Sukumara Kurup to be directed by Srinath Rajendran, who directed Dulquer’s debut film Second Show. And he has also signed a new film with director Mahesh Narayanan of Take Off fame.
