Kannada actor Upendra, who recently announced his entry into politics, has penned his autobiography. Set to release in a couple of days, this 144-page book will contain some interesting facts about the star’s life.

Published by Jameel Savanna, the book has been titled Idanna Odbedi, which means ‘Don’t read this’. The publisher reportedly said that the first 10 pages of this autobiography would be an interesting read and every hardcore Updenra fan is going to love it. He added that they did not organise a book launch event because it was hard to convince people to attend such an event with the book being titled Idanna Odbedi.

Upendra termed it as a mini-autobiography explaining he jotted down his thoughts randomly and then corrected it when he found the time. According to the publisher, “It is a bare-it-all experiment of Upendra, who never minces words.”

It may be mentioned here that the autobiography comes at a time when Upendra had announced the launch of his political party Karnataka Pragnyavantha Janatha Paksha. But the publisher pointed out that it was not intentional but happened that way. He added that book was supposed to be launched a couple of months earlier but got delayed for various reasons.

Savanna Publications has also published two other books penned by Upendra, which are Namma Uppi - Hattiradavaru Kandante (Our Uppi, as seen by people near him) and Uppiginta Ruchi Bere Illa (Nothing as tasty as salt).

On the acting front, Upendra’s Upendra Matte Baa released to packed houses on November 17 and the actor is currently busy with Uppi Rupee which is scheduled for release next month. Touted to be made based on demonetisation, black money, and corruption prevailing in the society, the film has been directed by Madesh.
