The News Minute | February 19, 2015 | 12.20 pm ISTOn Thursday, a day after DMK members were evicted , DMDK members were sent out of the Tamil Nadu Assembly for making a remark against AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa.The MLAs were evicted after one of the DMDK members, Mohan Raj, referred to Jayalalithaa as ‘convicted chief minister’.The Speaker, Natham Vishwanathan also expunged the remarks that had been made against Jayalalithaa. According to Mohan Raj, the DMDK MLA who made the remarks , he had made no mistake by calling her a convicted person. “They pulled shirts. Where is democracy?”, he asked. He said that he had been suspended until Monday.
