Malayalam star Dileep’s next release would be Ramaleela, a political thriller. Directed by Arun Gopy, who is making his debut as a director, the film has Prayaga Martin as the female lead. Speaking about Ramaleela to Deccan Chronicle, director Arun Gopy said, “An important character is played by Radhika Sarathkumar, as Dileep’s mother. Dileep plays an MLA. There is also a layer of humour in the film.”
Apart from Dileep, Prayaga and Radhika, the star cast also includes Mukesh, Siddique, Saikumar, Kalabhavan Shajon, and Vijayaraghavan. Shaji Kumar has handled the camera while Vivek Harshan has edited the film and Gopi Sunder has set the tunes.
While a major part of Ramaleela has been shot already, the team will be flying down to Maldives on March 27th for the last schedule, revealed the director. With the film progressing fast, the makers of Ramaleela are looking forward to release it on Ramzan.
