The Diganth starrer Huttu Habbada Subhashayagalu has been progressing well and there are a few updates about the film. According to a latest update, Diganth will be playing the main lead but his character will have shades of grey. His look, which was revealed on Deepavali, has got the expectation levels up already. Kavitha Gowda plays the female lead in this comedy thriller.
The film is directed by Nagaraj Bethur and bankrolled by TR Chandrashekar. On the film, its director told Cinema Express, “The entire episode needs to be shot at night. Since we have been witnessing continuous rainfall, we decided to push the schedule ahead.”
The shooting of this film has been progressing well but the last leg was put on hold for various reasons and sources say that it will now commence in November end. Huttu Habbada Subhashayagalu has music scored by Anand Raj Vikram with Abhilash Kallati handling the cinematography.
Diganth’s other project in the making is Gaalipata 2 which has Ganesh in the lead. Reports suggest that the shooting of this film will begin next month with the filmmakers eyeing a release next year. Yograj Bhat, who had directed Gaaliapta, will be directing Gaalipata 2. Incidentally, Gaalipata also had Ganesh in the lead role with the rest of the star cast including Anant Nag, Rajesh Krishnan, Diganth, Daisy Bopanna, Neethu and Bhavana Rao.
Diganth is also playing an important role in Yuva Ratna, which has Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead role. The film is directed by Santosh Ananddram who had earlier collaborated with Puneeth to deliver the smash hit film Rajakumaraa. Yuva Ratna is bankrolled under the banner Hombale Films. Sayyesha is playing the female lead and this is her first film in the Kannada film industry. V Harikrishna is composing the music for Yuva Ratna.
