If you haven't seen the movie Interstellar, stop right there - spoilers ahead.

But if you have, a Lincoln commercial released in the first week of September starring Interstellar actor Mathew McConaughey is a must watch.

Reddit user  Gandalfs_stolen_cart pointed out the uncanny similarities between McConaughey's dialogues in the commercial to the plot of Interstellar itself.

In the commercial he says, "Sometimes you've got to go back to actually move forward. I don't mean going back to reminisce or chase ghosts. I mean, going back to see where you came from, how you've been, how you got here, see where you're going."

Coming back to the Interstellar plot, the whole story revolves around going back and forward. McConaughey goes back in an effort to communicate with his daughter in an attempt to come forward. Complicated as it may sound, it looks like he is talking more about the movie than the car he is advertising.

"I know there are those who say you can't go back. Yes, you can. You just have to look in the right place," he says. Exactly, like in the movie!

He goes back, makes things right and communicates with his daughter in a way no one could fathom - by looking in the right place.

The word 'ghost' plays a large role in the movie, and McConaughey's usage of the word is another similarity between the ad and the Nolan sci-fi movie that has left everyone amazed.
