Ahead of the release of Dhanush’s most anticipated film, Jagame Thandhiram on Netflix, the actor has announced his next film. Dhanush will be teaming up with director Sekhar Kammula for an entertainer, which will be a trilingual film. Scheduled to be shot simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, the new movie is expected to go on floors later this year. The trilingual project is set to be produced by Narayan Das K Narang, and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao will bankroll the film under Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP

Sekhar Kammula currently awaits the release of upcoming Telugu film Love Story, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. The makers are awaiting the theatrical release in view of the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions. One of the singles from the film, ‘Saranga Dariya’, went viral on the internet, clocking several million views. Love Story is bankrolled by Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas.

Actor Dhanush was last seen in director Mari Selvaraj’s Karnan, which released in theatres on April 9 and later had its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The movie garnered positive reviews from fans and critics alike. The venture marked the first-time collaboration between Pariyerum Perumal fame Mari Selvaraj and Dhanush. The actor- director duo recently announced that they have also teamed up for a new project. Karnan also marked the Kollywood debut of actor Rajisha Vijayan, who started her career with Malayalam film Anuraga Karikkin Vellam.
