Music composer Devi Sri Prasad is on a roll with both Rangasthalam and Bharat Ane Nenu turning out to be major hits. He had composed music for both these films and his music had a vital role in their success at the box office. With consecutive hits to his credit, the stylish music composer has inked a deal to work in another project. Yes, he has been signed up to compose the tunes for F2: Fun and Frustration. It is a multi-starrer that has Venkatesh and Varun Tej in the lead roles.

According to sources in the know, Anil Ravipudi, the film’s director, wanted a music director who could compose some really peppy tunes, and eventually decided that Devi Sri Prasad would do full justice.

On roping in Devi Sri Prasad, director Anil Ravipudi is reported to have told Deccan Chronicle, “The film’s tunes and background score will play vital roles in driving the narrative. We are thrilled to team up with Devi Sri Prasad and super excited to start working with him. We are confident that he will deliver another musical blockbuster.”

While Venkatesh and Varun Tej play the heroes, the director has roped in Tammannah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada to play the leading ladies. F2: Fun and Frustration is bankrolled by ace producer Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Director Anil Ravipudi is a well-known writer who ventured into film direction. His directorial debut was the 2015 release Pataas. He then went on to direct films such as Supreme and Raja The Great.

Venkatesh, who has always been choosy about his films, decided to hop on the sets of F2: Fun and Frustration after the director impressed him with the story and script. The film is expected to go on the floors soon.
