When it came to their wedding pictures, actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh may have made their fans wait much longer than they expected to, but it seems to be all worth it. Both the actors took to social media to share pictures from the mehendi ceremony as well as the two weddings and the pictures are just heartwarming. The actors look stunning and just so happy.
Ranveer shared pictures of Deepika along with pictures of them together and Deepika shared pictures of Ranveer along with them performing the ceremonies. Both are wearing Sabyasachi outfits and wide smiles.
At her mehendi ceremony, Deepika is seen dressed in a pink and gold lehenga with her mehendi-covered hands resting on a pillow. Ranveer is wearing a red and gold anarkali and a jacket to match Deepika’s outfit.

The couple has returned to India and is currently in Bengaluru, where they will be hosting a wedding reception at The Leela Palace on November 21. The reception will be attended by Deepika’s close friends and family. This will be the first of the two receptions they are hosting, the second likely to be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Mumbai on December 1. The Mumbai reception will be attended by the who’s-who of Bollywood and promises to be a grand event.
Ranveer and Deepika got married at Italy’s picturesque Lake Como in two separate ceremonies last week. While the Konkani wedding was held on November 14, the Sindhi ceremony was held on November 15. For the Konkani wedding, Ranveer wore white and gold and Deepika was dressed in gold and red, wearing kundan jewellery. For the Sindhi ceremony, they both adorned red. While Ranveer wore a red and gold sherwani, Deepika once again wore heavy kundan jewellery to go with her lehenga as well as choodas and kaliras on her wrists.
Ranveer and Deepika reportedly dated for six years before they got married. The two met on the sets of their first movie together – Goliyon Ki Ras Leela, Ramleela – directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. They have acted in two other movies – Bajirao-Mastani and Padmaavat – after that.
